If you take lupron you should no longer continue your depo. The idea of lupron is to stop your menstruation completely. I was on the depo and had to go on lupron for endometriosis. My doctor told me it was not necessary to be on both and stopped the depo for the six months I was doing the lupron treatment. Even though lupron stops your mentrual cycle, there is a slight chance of still getting pregnant so another form of birth control should still be used! Hope this helps!
