Unhappy Period only lasted a day and a half...pregnant?? HELP PLEASE

On February 18th I got my period on time and it was a normal flow (not heavy bleeding but not light either) the only thing is it only lasted a day and a half as opposed to my normal 5-6 days. Me and my boyfriend had unprotected sex before I got my period so I began to worry because my period had been so short, so on the 21st I took an at home exam and got a negative. I know it sounds crazy because I already got a negative but im wondering if it is possible that I might be pregnant either way? In the morning I wake up nausious but no vommiting at all and throughout the day I have this small lingering amount of nausea that is worsened only a little bit by eating, but Im still able to eat normally. I have been eating a lot but...i do enjoy food so idk if that's related lol. Other than the nausea I havnt had any pregnancy symptoms but Im very gassy and sometimes have minor diahrea idk if thats related and today I had a little bit of bloody discharge (very slight vaginal discharge). Is it possible the negative was false and i am pregnant? or was my period just irregular and im worrying too much?? Please help!!

A normal period (bleeding) lasting more than a day, isnt a sign of pregnancy.
You are probably stressed out too much hence the nausea, gassy, diarrhea symptoms you are having. Unless you are trying to get pregnant, unprotected sex is opening doors for babies...So, take care of yourself and dont worry too much. You can always test again in 5 days and negative means negative.

Re: Period only lasted a day and a half...pregnant?? HELP PLEASE

I cant say if you are or if you arent. I have a short cycle, 25 days. With my first 3 pregnancy's, I wasnt able to test positive until well after the first day I missed my period. But I recently just got pregnant with my fourth. When I first started testing, i was only about 19 days past the first day of my last cycle, and I got a positive. VERY VERY FAINT. I was sure it was an evap line. Then I tested the next day on 3 tests. They all came up with a line right away that vanished after about two minutes of the test processing. The third day, I got lines that were thin, but def there, and they stayed there. So the new tests are pretty good I would say. All except the digi's. They didnt show up positive until a week later. This is all so embarassing. YES. I spent over 150 bucks on sticks to pee on just to make for absolutely sure I was in fact pregnant. I dont recommend it. lol. Aside from that, I had implantation bleeding only with one of my children. I remember I took the test, it came up negetive, and later that day I started bleeding. But by that evening it had stopped. So It is possible. It could just be stress. Go see a doc and get a blood test if you are concerned. Or just wait a couple of days and retest. Hope that helped you.
Melissa
