Hey Everyone..
Ive recently been experiencing some changes in my genital area. I am peeing A lot more and my bladder seems to be slightly weaker. I have pains in an area as i could only describe as my ovary area. It actually feels like my ovaries are exploding with eggs (lol). I am also feeling more hungry and having mood swings... Have noticed more discharge down there too. Any ideas anyone???
I have a pelvic ultrasound tomorrow. Swabs cannot detect cervical cancer. swabs can only show cervix problems & even they are not reliable. Ultrasounds are not either, as far as that goes, but I'd rather get one just in case it would show anything.

Swabs can show cervical cancer as it can detect abnormal cells, which is then referred to a pelvic ultrasound to make sure....
I think im going to go back to the doctors, see if i can get a ultrasound too.
yes, I meant to say swabs cant detect OVARIAN cancer. With cervical cancer, I dont' believe you would need a pelvic ultrasound, just biposy of tissue, but I'm not a dr so I'm not sure. good luck
