Question Is there a possibility of pregnancy after tubal ligation?

I am a 31 year old mother of three, and I had tubal ligation performed on me during a ceserean section of my last child. Its three years later and my period is a month late! I wasn't too sure if irregular periods was something to consider after a tubal ligation, even though my period has been coming like clockwork since then. But I also have been experiencing the pregnancy symptoms that I would usually have in the early stages. Is it really possible to get pregnant, is there really room for error with a procedure that is supposed to be 100% effective? What are the stats on this? I really need some reassurance or a heads up or somone who has experienced this themselves so that I am heavily armed with info when I go get a checkup.

If you're a month late, take a pregnancy test so ypu'll know for sure.
