Do you have any other symptoms besides the discharge? What's the color and consistency of the discharge?
If it's white and clumpy and you're itchy, it's probably a yeast infection. If it's gray/green and fishy-smelling, it's probably bacterial vaginosis. If you have any kind of irritation it could be a bacterial infection or trich. It could also just be hormones (did you recently start or stop taking bc?) or it could be a pH imbalance. If you haven't always had it and you suddenly do, you should see a doctor to be on the safe side.
