How much discharge is normal?

I know that everybody has different amount of discharge and it's maybe normal, but what else can cause a lot of discharge ? I mean if it's not yeast and not bv , what condition can cause it ? something with the cervix, or ?

Re: yeast infection / cytolitic vaginosis?

nyuszisue - Or, if you aren't suffering any discomfort, it could just be normal.

I was reading a post from this lady who'd gone to dozens of doctors and tried dozens of treatments until she finally found a gynae who told her she was fine, everyone has a different amount of discharge and she just naturally had a lot of it.

Re: How much discharge is normal?

Yes, every woman has a different amount of discharge that is "normal." It can depend on your diet, stress levels, hormones, environment, etc. The only reason a lot of discharge should be concerning is if it's accompanied by irritation, itching, or burning, if it's colored (green, pink, yellow, gray) or if it's suddenly increased (for instance, you've never had a lot of it and suddenly you start to get more and more of it out of nowhere).
