Severe Fatigue with PMS - HELP
I am wondering if this happens to anybody else. I have always had severe PMS and was once told I have PMDD. I have to schedule my life around my period. But one symptom seems to be getting worse.
I always get real moody, tired and migraines with my PMS. But the past year the fatigue seems to be getting out of control. Example, I started on Sunday. My symptoms of migraine, etc starts a few days prior. But on Saturday night, about 5 pm, my migraine kicked in and I litterally slept until 5 pm on Sunday (when I actually started). I mean...I almost like pass out. I get really dizzy and can't wake up for nothing. I slept for 24 hours straight!! My blood pressure even gets really low (about 90/50). Once my period starts, it is like this "brain fog" lifts and I start to wake up and feel better again.
I have tried everything. I am on BC to help regulate my periods. Without BC the periods are twice is long and even more severe. I up my vitamin B's and magnesium. I try to stay active....But the fatigue overcomes me (and migraine) every month, the 24 hours right before I start. I am losing an entire day every month. I litterally can't watch my son, my husband has to take over. This month I slept through Easter!!
Help!!! Does anyone else get this "extremely" tired with PMS??
