bumpy fingernails

Is it a vitamin deficiency as I get older?

which way are the bumps going? are they like ridges? depending on if the bumps/ridges are going against or with the direction of your nail bed it could be a few things - nutritional or supplement deficiency, changes in your diet, etc.

However, if the ridges are going horizontal, < edited > you should talk to your doctor immediately as it could be something called Beaus disease or some other illness.
