Re: how do doctors get out a lost tampon

You can't lose a tampon. There is only so many places it can go!!!! But if the string breaks out and you are not comfortable going and reaching for it (which you can) the doctor I guess could use clamps or his fingers.

Why? He/she uses their fingers to examine you there. They use gloves.

Re: how do doctors get out a lost tampon

Hello there. This happened to me when I was 16. Talk about humiliating!! The string had broken off of course, and I just had to go to my gynocologist and get in position for a vaginal exam. In fact, it was pretty much the same deal. Feet in stirrups and drs. Just know what direction n where it pretty much usually goes. It seemed a lot worse to me I'm sure because of my age. If it ever happened again, I'd just have my SO work to get it out, only if I wasn't able too of course. Before even going to the dr., try the squatting position to get it out yourself. Gravity works with you. Good luck. Try to relax and just work with ur body. Thatll help too. Hope I helped some hun! Marla.
