I've been on the pill for 4-5 years. I like that it keeps me regular but I still have some pretty intense cramping during the first couple days of each period. But for the past couple months, I've noticed cramping 1-2 weeks after my period has ended. Definitely too early for PMS cramps. They're not as intense, rather mild actually, but they're definitely menstrual cramps - very very low abdomen. And they're pretty frequent when they occur. Usually lasts a few days, then it clears up before the normal PMS cramps. Any ideas? Is this something I should be concerned about? I've also noticed along with these changes, that my flow in general has changed - even though I have not gone off the pill or changed the medication. My flow now lasts about 2-3 days longer than usual and I've gone from heavy to light bleeding, to now light to heavy.
These changes don't seem very dramatic, I know .. but I'm concerned because usually, I'm very very regular.
