I have itching in my vagina, and at times sores pop up.

Does anyone know why?

You probably need to go see a doctor, you could have a yeast infection and all the scratching could be causing the sores which could also become infected.

You also may have an infection that needs to be treated.

Do the sores burn, or only itch?

It sounds like some sort of infection, or possibly herpes. You could also be having an allergic reaction, like to the soap you use or the laundry detergent you use.

Those are the same symptoms that my friend had and sadly it was herpes. I would get to a doctor as soon as you can.
