| Period MIA and abdominal pain
Hi ladies, I am 20 years old and recently went without a period for over four months, with no apparent cause. I was not sexually active, so pregnancy was out of the question.
During this time (and although lessened, still presently) I had severe abdominal pain that required me to be in hospital. I do have a history of large ovarian cysts, but nothing showed on the ultrasound.
My periods have resumed, but are quite painful. As well I still have pain deep in the left side of my abdomen. A doctor suggested possible endometriosis.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
