Question about gas pains

Hi,
Had a D&C, endometrial ablation and tubal done a week ago today. Am still somewhat sore but am off the pain pills for a full 24 hours. Now I have ungodly gas pain that makes me cry and almost scream. I've defecated once today but it hasn't helped the gas pain. I've tried to fart and fart and fart and its not working. How can I alleviate this? I still have percocets left. Would it help to take one or would that only make the problem worse?

Re: Question about gas pains

It wouldn't hurt to take the percocet but it might not be gas pains at all. When I get my monthly cramps I always think its gas at first but as some time goes by I realize its mostly my cramps. But for me, whether its gas or regular cramps heat is pretty much the only thing that eases it. I also have one of those shiatsu massage pillows that I put on my abdomen which helps a bunch too!
