urgent help required

Hello Doctor,
I am a 30 yrs old R&D professional, from India. I am going to complete 4yrs of my marraige in next month...I am trying to conceive from last 8 months and this month I missed my period by 8days, (I have regular 28 - 30days cycle)and have signs of early pregnancy, though I didn't take any pregnacy test till date. Now, yesterday all of a sudden, I feel cramps in my lower abdomen, and start bleeding. I was very dipressed...Today morning my flow was almost stopped (normally flow is maximum on 2nd day for me) and I found heavy bleeding along with little jelly mucous like mass on my sanitary pad.I am really puzzled and confused what should I do..?? what can it be (that jelly like mass)...?? is my professional life takes a toll on my fertility, as I need to handle plenty of chemicals everyday...?
I had an abortion too, just three months after my marriage.
I eagerly want to conceive at the earliest....please suggest what should I do?

Re: urgent help required

I personal think that you should be see by a doctor as soon as possible.. female organs are not something to ignore or but a side.. there could be several things wrong.. you said you work with chemicals on a daily bases depending on the chemicals they could make it so you either can't ever have children or very hard to conceive a child, also you mentioned that you have had an abortion in the past that also can create problems. my best of wishes are for you and your husband.. If you have any other questions or just wanna talk feel free to reply back to me.

Re: urgent help required

I once read somewhere that many women were pregnant for a few days then get a heavier period, thinking it was their period, but it was actually a m/c. They called it a chemical pregnant. I also read that 6-8 months is the average time it takes couples TTC. But my doctor told me I should address the issue if I had been trying for a year. And I know they say for people over 35 or with endometriosis to consult medical help if they had been trying for 6 months. So I would make an appointment with your doctor. There's a TTC board that I found helpful on here also. Good luck!
