Dizziness and Nausea Months After Abortion

I had a medical abortion in October 2009. I was 6 weeks pregnant, and it was the first time I had ever been pregnant. For complicated reasons I was unable to see the doctor for a followup visit. I took a pregnancy test a month after the abortion and it was negative (it was one of the line tests rather than the digital, and there was no hint of any positive line on the results window.)

About 3 and a half months after my abortion I started feeling extremely dizzy and nauseous. It lasted for one week then went away. A month later the dizziness and nausea returned, lasting for a week again before disappearing. This happened every month since then, and it seems to start around the time I should be ovulating.

I have read about women having similar symptoms during the time they ovulate, but why would this suddenly happen to me, and could it be the result of my aborted pregnancy? I also had symptoms of Restless Leg Syndrome during the time I was pregnant (something I had never had before) and these symptoms return every month along with the nausea and dizziness. As far as periods go, they have been right on time, the amount was normal, and the cramping was the same as it has always been.

Could there still be pregnancy tissue left in my uterus after this long? If there is remaining tissue, is this dangerous at all to my health? I have no health insurance and cannot afford to get any anytime soon, so I am unable to see a doctor about this. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Dizziness and Nausea Months After Abortion

Your symptoms could be caused from stress from having had an abortion. If you had retained tissue then you would be having very heavy periods and alot of pain.
