| uterine polyps
My gyne found two uterine polyps during an ultrasound, and wants to remove them surgically at the hospital. Alternatively, I could have some of the endometrial tissue biopsied in an in-office procedure. I'm terrified of surgery, and trying to make the best decision on having these polyps taken out. (I've previously had major surgery to remove fibroids, and would like to not go through anything like that again; I've also had a cervical polyp taken out in-office, and that was so much easier and less painful than expected.) Has anyone been through surgery to have uterine polyps removed before? What is the procedure like? How long does it take? What are the pluses and minuses of getting polyps removed vs just having the tissue biopsied? Thanks so much for any advice!
