Question missed period while on birth control
Hi I have been on Loestrin 24 for a year now and have always had a period. I was suppose to start my period friday. I am concerned because I forgot to take the first pill of the pack and the last pill before the placebo pill. I took a pregnancy test friday night and it came back negative. Do you think it is safe to say I am not pregnant or should I retest. I have cramps and I feel like there is pressure on my ovaries. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'd retest and then call the gyno if you miss your next period. I'm in similiar situation with a missed period while on birth control. I took several pt test, all negative, and now I'm waiting to see if I get mine next week. Good Luck.

I'd suggest another preg test too. Just to make sure.

With my 1st child I was on the pill too. So, as you can tell, she was a "surprise". When my period was due, I was still having the cramps and other pms symptoms, so I believed I wasn't pregnant at first. But I found out that this was also my body changing, as I was pregnant.
