Age:25 ...4 years no period
Not having a period is something I've learned to live with and accept as normal to be honest. I had my first period when i was 9, as i remember they were normal for a few months then stopped. Then they became a yearly thing, then bi-yearly...so on. Now it's been over 4 years with no period. I know it's not normal but it didn't worry me so much until recently. Over the last couple months I've been having strong stabbing throbbing pain where my left ovary is. The right side hurts occasionally and the small of my back sometimes feels like kidney infection coming on,(scaring me the first time b/c i thought my kidneys were shutting down on me.) but it's all pain from my ovary. When I have a BM i can feel it pushing against something and it hurts as well. I've done enough research in the past to figure I have pcos, although I haven't had it confirmed. I have no health insurance and right now I'm trying to wait it out until the Obama plan kicks in that will let me be put on my dad's insurance until I'm 26. Giving me a 3 month window to get "fixed". What worries me is that if it's a cyst and has ruptured I could be septic, or that maybe its' cancer. I was wondering if anyone could give me a medical opinion so at least come september I'll know where to start. Thx
p.s. never been on any hormones, birth control or anything. and no chance of being pregnant as well if this helps.
