went in for pelvic scan ended up having chest and sides scanned too

Hi There,

First posting so please bear with me. I've been having some 'female' issues, bleeding pretty much non stop for 6 months, pain, tiredness and been picking up every cold or virus out there. Went to the doctors 2 months ago after suffering a severve bleed that frightened me. Didn't seem to think it was anything to worry about but when I spoke to my husband he insisted I make another appointment and he came with me. He stressed to the doctor how severe the pain was at times and the disruption the bleeding is causing me.

Doctor seemed to take note and suggested it may be endometriosis so booked me in for an ultrasound. I went last Friday he took many pictures in my pelvic area and my husband said it looked like he was measuring. He then began to sacn my tummy on and above my belly button, up underneith my bust and under my ribs asking me to breath in an out then he scanned my sides. The strange thing is all the places he scanned is where the pain in the 2 months between appts. has started to appear as well as in my pelvis. He stated at the end that I'm dealing with a chronic illness and another blood test would confirm.

However the receptionist when she tried to dicpher the results for me today said she thought they were clear. Am I wrong in thinking it appeared the raidiographer found something yet the results appear to be okay. Just a little confused now. How would others interpret these results?
