What does it mean if you have your 2 periods a month, suddenly?

Well i suddenly got allergic to wheat, then once that happened, my period changed from monthly to 3 weeks, then 2 weeks, then once or twice after a week, now its stuck to every 2 weeks, what does that mean?
And i feel so ill 24/7 now as well as many other symptoms Theres just too many to even write now, but its been 2 years now... And its been interrupting my life ever since.
