Endometriosis pops into my mind when I read your post. Please ask your doctor to rule it out as soon as possible. Especially since the pain leaves you disabled several times per month. Endometriosis are cells that escape from your uterus into your abdomen, causing severe pain, as blood is trapped inside you, with no escape. Severe pain around or with your period is one distinct symptom.
I was just diagnosed after years of suffering without a diagnosis. I wouldn't want that to happen to anyone else. Like anything else, finding out out fast is always best.
