new partner...lots of problems

hello all! new to this board. i've been referring to a lot of the posts in here to deal with what's been going on with my body lately. in the last 3 months i've been with a new sexual partner (who is my boyfriend), and i've been stricken with bv and yeast infections quite frequently. i never had problems like this with other partners! my boyfriend has been tested and is completely infection free, so i don't know why they keep on recurring (bv especially). it's been really hard not being able to have sex, i feel broken down there, and lost on what to do. this seems to be the story for many women and they just suffer for years on end. i've been on medication, but it just comes back. it take great care of my body, exercise, and take vitamins, but it makes me think that maybe our body chemistry isn't right together. quite depressing to think about. i don't know where to go from here....

Re: new partner...lots of problems

I have the same problem. I have been with my guy for almost a yr and a half and within 2 months of having sex, I have gotten a BV every month. After no concern from my OB I went to a health store (she is licensed to educate, etc) and she gave me Natures Sunshine Bifidophilus Flora Force. I don't know if you have anywhere that sells them, but I have been taking them for 3 months and so has he and we haven't had any problems. It has something to do with your pH and his and this has helped balance us out. My Dr. thinks I'm full of crap when I explained what I thought the problem was, but funny how it worked for me. You do have to keep them in the refridgerator tho since they are live "healthy bacteria". Good luck.
