The other night, my boyfriend and I were fooling around, and we went a little further than we intended to go. He entered me but only the head came in. I was too small for him to do anything else, without hurting me.... but afterwards, when we kept fooling around he ended up cuming. I'm pretty sure that I lost my virginity, can anyone verify that for me? Also, I was very stupid.... I was right in the middle of my menstrual cycle, and we weren't using any protection, is there a chance at all that I might be pregnant? He didn't *** until after he pulled out....
No you are no longer a virgin.
Also yes there is a slight chance of pregnancy because of pre-***. Pre-*** leaks out of an erect penis from the time of erection until right before ejaculation. It contains some sperm.
You really should get Emergency Contraception. It has to be taken wihtin 72 hours of unprotected sex/accidents and it works to prevent pregnancy. It is just a large dose of birth control hormones. You can get it from your doctor or local Planned Parenthood clinic.
No, you are no longer a virgin and there is a chance you may be pregnant. Go to a family planning clinic for help. You may be able to use emergency contraception. Good luck. Ally
Thanks but if I am pregnant, I decided I want to keep it, and besides there's a big chance left that I'm not pregnant after all. 10 more days will tell....
You are no longer a virgin. It doesn't matter how far he goes in, if you bleed, or if it was only for a minute. His penis entered your vagina which makes you no longer a virgin.
On the second issue - just let me tell you to be careful. The pull out method is completely unreliable. I am sitting here trying to warn you because I could be pregnant from this method and it is very scary. It seems so harmless if you only fool around (trust me I know) but the worrying is SO not worth it! The consequences are SO not worth it! Be careful <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif">
If he didn't break the hymen, you are still a virgin. If you were on you're period, chances are you're not pregnant. It would be a slim chance to get pregnant especially if he wasn't in you. You're doctor can tell you if the hymen has been broken. If you aren't sure this is what you want, then don't play with fire. I'm speaking from experience. I'm a 47 yr old mother of 4 and grandmother of 1. I do know the optimal time to get pregnant is from the 14-18 days of you cycle. If you were on your period, then you were probably within the first 7 days. If you are going to be sexually active, please get on birth control and get your partner to use a condom. STD's and HIV are still prevalent and you wouldn't want to get either one.
Jsphillips55,hate to tell you by the hymen doesnt count for being a virgin or not. There are some women who have very tough hymens and can still have them intact after many years of sex and yes even child birth(granted normally c-sections account for that). Would you consider someone like that a virgin??
Also not every woman will fall in that fertile period you named. Take me for example I actually ovulate on day 19 and sometimes day 20 so with your method I would miss my chance to get pregnant. Then of course you have to count in the women who have short cycles. They can ovulate earlier than day 14. I have a friend who ovulates on day 10 of her cycle. Then you got to throw in other factors that cycles can change whenever. So a girl can even ovulate during her period. When it comes to cycles they arent set in stone they are set to a human body which is very falliible.
A good book to read for any woman no matter age to truly learn about your own cycle is this. Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler.
LilSmalls, then I ask you how do you explain to women who have been sexually active for years and even have kids that they are still virgins because their hymens are intact???
The hymen is an OLD way of telling if one was a virgin or not. Now it is no longer considered that much whether one has an intact hymen or not. Many girls and women break their hymens through the various sports and activies they do. Even using tampons can break it. Now if one were to go by the idea tht once the hymen is broken one is no longer a virgin then there are a lot of girls out there who have never had a penis in them who are no longer virgins. How much sense does it make that one would lose their virginity to horse back riding or wearing a tampon??
The hymen is NO LONGER USED TO DECIDE VIRGINITY.
