Has anyone out there had blisters on their labia that show up and then subside over time (several weeks?) I usually just get one and it never breaks open. My Gyno does not think it's herpes. A cervical scraping was recently tested for HPV and came back negative. The blister itself was not tested for HPV. Is there anyone out there with similar problems?

I get zit like things, but not blisters. Sometimes they go away on their own and sometimes they pop or I pop them. Try using a bit of neosporin on them and see if it helps.

Yes, this has happened to me as well a couple of times over the past 4 yrs or so. It was never satisfactorily explained to me what it could be. it was like a shallow blister type of lesion with no fluid in it. Do you have any skin disorders? I have psoriasis and have chalked it up to this.... i don't know what else to call it.

also, it depends on what type of pap smear your dr used on you. The Thinprep pap smear kit can be sent for hpv typing. The regular pap smear kits aren't able to do this.
