Actually the day 14 ovulation is a untrue. Granted there are SOME women who do ovulate on day 14 of their cycle but they are fewer than one thinks.
Ovulation varies from woman to woman. Like me I ovulate on day 19 of MY cycle. My neighbor ovulates on day 12 of HER cycle.
There is no telling when you ovulated but if it later(due to stress,illness,travelling,and other a sorted things)than what is normal for your cycle then it can cause your period to be late.
Even gaining or losing weight can effect your cycle.
Give it a couple of weeks and if there is still no sign of your period go see your doctor to get things checked out.
