I very often have mucous coming from my vagina. It isn't discolored or nasty looking, and my gyno doesn't seem to be very concerned about it. It usually doesn't cause any problems other than an itch now and then. It doesn't smell, it is just a little agravating. Does anyone have a clue about this???
Hi Lisa, as long as it has no color, does not smell AND your gyno is not concerned I would not worry. It sounds like your normal cervical mucus. We all have it. Sometimes, depending on where we are in our cycles, it is thin, sometimes it is thick and sometimes the consistency of egg whites. Don't worry, Lisa, you sound perfectly normal to me. Ally
I often wondered if I was normal, since I have never heard anyone else speak of this. I knew that we all had cervical mucous, but didn't realize that is actually came out as much as it does.. I often wondered what a man would think if he made love to a woman while this was happening to him. I wonder if they notice it. Take care Ally, and God bless you!

Hi, I recently found out what that was. I'm ttc and when I would get the cm, I wouldn't do "it" bcse I thought it was gross. Well, come to find out that is the most fertile time!! DOH.. I believe you get the bulk of it and that egg white kind, when you're ovulating.
However, I now have another question. My cycle ended on the 10th of this mth. But since then, just about daily there has been this kinda yellow tinged discharge, with a little blood in it(no odor, no itching)..mostly after sex. Then today, it was clear, but there was blood in it. What could possibly be going on, I've never had this before.
[This message has been edited by csimms (edited 05-21-2002).]
