Hi,

I am on low-gesteral birth control pill. I switched from Ortho-tricyclin because of my insurance. I was 3 days late to start a new pack, so i just started taking the 4th pill, and threw away the others. Also 2 weeks later, I went out of town and forgot my pills, I missed 2, then I had slight bleeding, almost no bleeding for 4 days. Now here it is 2 weeks later and I am on my sugar pills and I am on the 4th day and no period. I am always on time. I took a pregnancy test and it was neg. Any ideas or sugestions would help.

Wait a few more days then repeat the pregnancy test. Do you usually have this much trouble remembering to take your medication? If you do then perhaps you should consider switching to another form or birth control like the IUD. Since messed up quite a bit with this months pills you should use a condom until get back onto your next pack of pills. Anytime you miss more than a couple pills you should use a backup form of birth control.
