I've been getting extremely exhausted the day my period ends of each month. I noticed it's been happening for the past year. I'm also slightly anemic. Is this normal? I tried eating more liver because of its high iron content, but it doesn't seem to be helping. Any suggestions?
After a period it is possible for you to become anaemic. Eating liver on its own will not always help and you should start taking some Vitamin B complex on a regular basis to help give yourself a boost. I take this once daily during and for a few days after my periods and find that I am fine afterwards.
If you are truley anemic your doc will want to put you on iron supplements to help this. See your doc as this is not normal. Also be sure you are taking a good multivitamin supplement daily as well as a good antioxidant supplement.
