I recently had ThermaChoice Endometrial Ablation. I had read great things about this procedure and was curious if anyone here has had this procedure. I am now 2 months post op and it has been GREAT so far! It is just too good to be true if it really works!

Comments anyone?

Re: cure for heavy periods - FINALLY

Hi Sweet pea...I had an ablasion 5 years ago and it worked great for awhile. I almost bled to death after a miscarriage in 97. I went 3 years after the surgery without a period at all. Then I started to spot a bit a few times a month. When my obgyn told me it was reversing and I would eventually have my reg periods back. And the uterine pain was bad too. So In May of this year I had a total abdominal hysterectomy (ovaries stayed in) And NO more pain I love it. The ablasion was great though and it lasted a long time I was just so scared of going through all the bleeding and pain again I just got rid of everything lol. I have 3 lovely daughters 21 18 and 12 and I am happy so it was the right choice for me. I wish you much happiness.

Re: cure for heavy periods - FINALLY

Lady....an ablasion cauterizes the uterine lining so it doesnt grow much or at all and the bleeding lessens or stops altogther. Mine stopped for 3 years. Hope this helps.
