Advice! When I was 14, I had (A) cup breast size, and gradually they continued to grow as I got older, but oddly one breast kept growing and the other stoped. So at age 17 I had one size 38 B and one size 32 B. And it used to be very noticeable and emberressing. but now that I am almost 19 I have noticed that the smallest breast is slowly getting bigger. My question was is this unusual to have one breast bigger then the other, and at what age do breast stop growing.
This is not at all uncommon..... my daughter has the same problem. she is 16. I talk to my doctor about it and she said its normal. Every woman is different so it all depend on your body when you stop growing. I stop in my teens then started up in my early twenties. Dont worry you will catch up.... but if you need to talk to your doc ( I prefer a female) and ask away. Good luck!
I am a grown woman with 2 children. I've always had one breast bigger than the other. They've gotten larger and smaller with each pregnancy and they've always been different sizes. Sometimes more noticable than others. What I do, is buy a bra with padding and take the padding out of the larger side, that way it's not noticable. My doctor has always told me that it is very common among women.
The last advise was really good--take the padding out of one side....Just about every woman has a difference between one breast and the other...With some-it is very much more noticable, but still very, very common. Since you are still quite young, as your body matures (and esp. after children...)--the difference may decrease. In the meantime, become creative!!(IE that padding deal)
This is kind of an extreme case but uneven breast size is quite common. It can also be at least partially corrected. We recommend that women use stimulation of the smaller breast including massage with some lotion with a little fenugreek in it. <p>[This message has been edited by moderator3 (edited 10-22-2001).]
