My periods have always been really screwed up, the doctors are pretty sure due to PCOS. If I wasn't on the pill, I would not have a cycle at all! Anyway, I am on a light birth control pill (Ovcon 35). I literally do not cramp, have no breast pain. On the day I am supposed to start my period, I have very, very faint staining--I wouldn't even call it spotting. And that's it.

So can I get pregnant using a birth control that has so little effect on me?

hi,

I am pretty sure that you can. I know a woman who concieved all five of her children while she was on the pill. If you are at all sexually active I think your best bet would be to use a condom just to be safe. Besides with all the STD's its a good idea anyway. Hope this helps!

Yes.

This happens most often with women over 70 kilos, (I(I think,) since dosing is standardized. a 120lb woman is prescribed the same dosage as a 350lb woman.

Do you see the problem in this picture?

Don't rely on that BC pill for contraception. If you intend to, look into switching to a stronger pill.
