Just wondering, I have to pee alot and I really don't drink alot of fluids and when I go it's alot. It doesn't burn or anything and I can hold it for hours I shouldn't hold it but am getting tired of always running to the bathroom. Have any ideas or just live with it??????????????????
It's probably nothing. However, you could have a bladder infection or you could have a cyst on your ovary which is putting pressure on your bladder. If you are feeling more thirsty it could even be diabetes. You should have it checked with your GYN just in case it is anything serious.
Urinary frequency is a common sign of a urinary tract infection. You need to get this checked out as left untreated you it can cause more serious damage and you might end up needed to be in the hospital. Also INCREASE your fluids to help keep bacteria flushed out of your bladder. Poor fluid intake can often be the cause of a bladder infection so to speak since there is not enough urine in the bladder to keep harmful bacteria flushed out. Get this check and please increase your fluids as you will have fuller bladder when you do have to go and will empty out better.
You should talk to your doctor about 'Interstitial Cystitus' ( I know I totally spelled that wrong.) I have 'IC' and I have meds that I take that help with the urgency of having to go all the time. Many doctors told me that I just had a small bladder - - finally I had a doc who sent me to the urologist and he checked it all out and diagnosed IC. The symptoms of IC vary form frequency of urination to painful bladder and everything in between. Although they are not suyre - they think it is caused by a breakdown (a tear or something) in the lining of the bladder.
I really urge you to check this out - it is much more common than people think and there is a fix (although no cure yet).
Take care and let me know how it goes - Airyn
