Please help please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

for the last five years, i've had not only a vaginal discharge but some sort of skin discoloration, possinly a rash, at first my doctor though what i had ws a yeast infection, but she tested the PH and discovered that the dischrage ws normal, meaning that the discharge was normal,a dn not caused by infection. the rash or discoloration, whatever it is is not raised or itchy, the lower part of my labia(the skin taht looks like lips that covers the vaginal opening) is purple on the outside and changes to bright red as it gets towrads my vaginal opening, but only the lower part of the labia minoria is infected. the rash/disclorationis my main concern, it doesn't move or spread, and its never gotten better. i've tried cortozone cream, a and d ointmetn, and i'am currently using a steroid cream, and its not getting better. i'm not sexually active, nor have i ever been, so what wrong with me? and how do i get better?

Re: PLEASE HELP PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

RELAX. Second of all every woman is different when it comes to the color of our labia majora and the labia minora. Those are the two sets of lips in the vulva area.
For examply mine start of a dark tan(this skin has never seen the sun) and fades to a dark pink almost red color as it goes inward. Just for the recond I happen to be white.
Since Dh and I watch and look at porn I have seen a wide variety of colors when it comes to women and their vulvas. So it could just be natural for you.

Re: PLEASE HELP PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Barbie, if it's not itchy and hasn't spread then it's probably not anything to worry about. Every woman has different skin colorations in the vaginal and anal area, just like there are different types, shapes and colors of nipples. Putting all those creams on it is just making the skin worse - cortisone/steroid creams will thin your skin when used over long periods of time. As for the discharge, 90% of women have it - it's just cervical mucous. I thought something was wrong with me because of my discharge (usually white or yellowish in color, sometimes clear - sound familiar?) but after chatting with lots of women on these boards and talking with my doctors, I realized my discharge was normal. So sit back and relax, it's nothing to stress over.
