Breast discharge..Not nursing

For the past few weeks whenever my left breast is stimulated at all I have a grayish/black discharge. At first I thought it was blood but, does not appear to be.Has anyone ever had anything like this before. I am concerned. I go to my gyn on Jan. 2nd...Just kinda wondering what it could be...I had my last child 91/2 years ago...
Thanks

Re: Breast discharge..Not nursing

I had a discharge from my breast that was a blackish brown color, which was, in fact, caused by blood. I ended up having the duct surgically removed and biopsied. It turned out to be a benign condiction called ectasia. Most the time blood coming from the breast is caused by benign conditions, such as mastitis(infection), cysts, papillomas, ectasia, etc., but not always. See your doctor so that you can find out what's going on and get it treated.

Re: Breast discharge..Not nursing

A dark fluid is not normal, but a clear whitish is on arousal. I was told that by my DR.
