I have mild abdomin pain. Last night it began on my left side (around my ovary) then it switched to the right side. It seems to be in one area not all around pain. It is not severe and not constant. I feel it every now and then. It just doesn't seem like normal PMS cramping. Any ideas?

Could be a couple of different things. Have you had this for a long time? Any fever? May be something as simple as ovulation. Also if you are prone to ovarian cysts it may be from that. Women with endometriosis may have pain in the ovarian area, or it may just be referred pain (coming from somewhere else). If you continue to experience it or other symptoms occur, I recommend making an appointment with your Gyn. Good luck.

sky, i gets this all the time, i was refered to a gini and they found that i had polycystic ovarys, my ovarys are full of little cysts, nothing to worry about, but i would go to see gini for a check up <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif"> by the way i am only 21 they found this when i was 19 and also i am growing alot of hair <IMG SRC="http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif">
