C-Section Question and Concern-vomiting and diarrhea?
is this normal to have after the c-section after my ssiter was fine while in the hospital? she's been diagnosed postpartum depression but these aren't symptoms of that as far as i've read...any of you have this? it's 2 weeks since she's had her baby and she was fine while in the hospital but has been vomitting daily, diarrhea, lost most of her baby weight and is just plain down...doesn't help she has a colicky baby but told her she'd feel better about taking care of him if SHE felt better.....dr gave her antidepressants yesterday but she threw up so she didn't keep them down......
help please.

After mine i was a little down but never had any vomiting or diahrea. It may be her bodies way of getting adjusted to the change. Have her call her dr and tell them that she is not keeping things down. They may have to put her on something to control the vomiting until things settle.

well, she's in the ER this am despite being given a prescription for anti-nausea meds yesterday afternoon......this is a good place for her since they can run all the tests there and hopefully have an answer and a quick fix for her!
