| Pregnant??
I am on the pill and having unprotected sex. I take it properly all the time. I want to try for a baby with my partner who has HSV2. So far I have not caught the virus.
My breasts have been sore on and off for weeks, at the sides and my nipples are sensitive. I have bleeding between periods which has never happened before, but have got every period on time for the passed 3 months this has been happening. I have put a little weight on around my hips and thighs and get very slight cramping now and then. I have not had any morning sickness or fatigue, nor has my diet changed significantly. I have had a white thick discharge on and off.
The bleeding between periods seems to have stopped. It's at least another 3 weeks before my next period is due.
How am I to tell if I am pregnant on the pill? I took a pregnancy test (a kit that said I could take it 5 days before my period was due) and it was negative.
Does it sound like I am pregnant? Should I bother with another kit or get a blood test?
Because I was bleeding, I went for an ultrasound to check my ovaries and uterus and it was fine. If I were pregnant, would it show during this ultrasound?
