Question Sore nipple,what could it be?
I got into the shower this morning,and as soon as the water hit my nipple I felt a burning,painful sensation IN my nipple.
I examined it,and (it's really hard to explain this but) the nipple hole seemed slightly open.Like it does when you are pregnant and milk comes out.
It still feels sore and looks a little bit red.The other nipple is fine.
Should I be concerned? I have never had this happen before.
I did have sex like a week ago and my husband was gently pinching my nipples.Could that be what it is from? Seems weird it wouldn't bother me until now though...
Any thoughts??

You could have picked up an infection which could need antibiotics. My suggestion would be to pay a visit to your doctor.

Hi,thanks for your reply.It seems to be fine today.It didn't hurt or bother me at all in the shower and looks normal again.Perhaps it was just from friction or something.
