My sister is 22 years old. Over the last year, she has lost a lot of hair on especially the top part of her head, you can see her scalp. She's not balding but it is very thin at the top. She used to have the thickest hair - everyone would comment on it.
She went to see her doctor who said it was normal and didn't even ask her if she was stressed or about her diet.
scribbler128: It's not normal to be losing your hair at 22. Adding some zinc to your diet can help. See if she can get her hormones checked and see if she's low in progesterone. Alot of times that's a culprit especially at menopause. Even though she's not at that stage she could still have hormone problems.
