getting more and more prone to infections!

I've been tested numerous times for HIV, chlamydia, gonorreah, and different STI's. In august I had Bacterial Vaginitis, took some antibiotics, it cleared up. Since then I've stopped douching, have been wiping front to back, take a shower in the morning (have always done that) and put a clean pair of undies on every night before I go to bed. I drink at least 48oz of water a day.
Now------------- I have another infection. I can't tell if it's a UTI or yeast infection. or bladder or kidney!!!!????? i havn't had any smelly discharge that looked weird and my lower back hasn't hurt but for a while my abdomen was hurting like hell when i had to pee and when i did pee. That has gone away but now there is this AWFUL burning and itch around the whole opening of my vagina, my pee hole, my lips, up to my ****. It feels like it is throbbing and it is really red. Seriously! It's one thing after another and I have been taking good care of myself. I know you guys can't diagnose my but what does this sound like to you??????

Re: getting more and more prone to infections!

Maybe a yeast infection, but I am not sure. You don't see any lesions, right? Try going to a different gynecologist or doctor. In the meantime, don't wear any undies to bed (so skin can "breathe.") Rinse just with water in the shower--not too hot and no soap.
Wear only 100% cotton undies.
Don't have sex until this is better (it might be too irritating.)
Sorry you have to keep going back to doctors. When you get a proper diagnosis and treatment, please let us know how you're doing.
