Hi
i have had this pain on my lower left side for a few months now. it is like a dull ache around where my ovary is however it has now started to radiate to my groin area. the pain comes and goes all the time but get worse when im ovulating and when get my period and turns to a pinching/stabbing pain during this time. the pain is not severe and i can cope with it im just a bit concerned as to what this could be if anything?
does anyone have any idea what this is?

katieisac: It could be many things. Get checked for endometriosis and ovarian cysts. Get an ultrasound or an MRI to see what's going on in there. Endometriosis is very common and causes alot of pain. You could also have bowel issues. Are you constipated? If so, increase your fiber and take some magnesium to help you go better.

I lived with that same kind of pain for too long before trying to get a diagnosis, and by the time I did, I had a case of endometriosis that was completely debilitating. I have spent this entire year trying to get over it with various treatments.

I encourage you to go to your gyno as soon as possible to get started with treatment. Like all health issues, the sooner you get a diagnosis the better. I hope the best for you.
