Re: how to induce your period?

Are you currently on birth control pills? If you are, what you can do is skip the placebo week and start a new pack and skip your period for that month. I do this every 3 months so I only get 4 periods a yr.

Re: how to induce your period?

Hi is the period painful? I really don't recommend inducing. If the periods in the past were painful inducing early can make it hurt worse. If it is not painful a person might get away with it. It can be done in some people with food but might cause other irregularities later and I still don't recommend it.

Re: how to induce your period?

I realize this is after the date of your holiday and I hope things worked out for you! I also wanted to mention that this usually isn't possible unless you are on the pill. I skip periods regularly with using the pill and it works great. I had talked to my doctor about doing this because I was getting very sick during my periods and missing too much work. I have them every 2-3 months instead. I have never tried to get my period early in less than a month, but this might be possible as well. However, it's usually considered safer to skip the period rather than try to have it early when avoiding pregnancy. I am not sure of the risks if taking the pill, but I've heard from a few people to play it safe and not do that unless using backup birth control.
