| Best Pill Probiotic- Lactobacillus Acidophilus Recommendations?
I've never tried a douche and don't really plan on it, never tried a suppository, and have only tried tampons a couple times and it's just not for me. What's the BEST L. acidophilus pill out there on the market? I bought some generic pharmacy brand, but I know there are better ones out there that require refrigeration? But I also read somewhere (don't remember where) that probiotics (L. acido specifically) does't make its way down to vagina when take orally. Does anyone have an input on this? My doc actually recommended Rephresh- and she said that she doesn't recommend OTC feminine products EVER. But the fact that I had little to no L. Acido meant that NOTHING could hurt! But again, the whole applicator thing... just not something I'm comfortable with and causes me anxiety!!! Any recommendations?
