I am a natural worrier. It runs in my family. That said, the last time I had sex was April 30th. I am on the pill. We did not use a condom, but my boyfriend pulled out. I had a very heavy period 2.5 weeks later, starting on May 18th. I wrote it off as being due to permanently changing time-zones (by six hours) and taking the pill bedtime, which was now six hours later than I was used to. I'm aware that fact alone should be enough to reassure me that I'm not, in fact, pregnant. However, my last period (June 15-19) was nearly nonexistent, i.e. all brown, extremely light, minimal cramping. This has concerned me. This morning, June 22nd, I had a strong wave of nausea. No vomiting occurred, however. I feel this might be a result of my fish oil supplement, which I had taken about 20 minutes pre-nausea, but I feel like I should mention it nevertheless.
Some helpful facts:
I am on the pill (Loestrin24Fe).
I am currently dealing with a great deal of familial/general life stress.
I have gained 30 pounds since January.
I am working on losing this weight, through diet and exercise.
I take green tea supplements, a multi-vitamin, fish oil, and B-12 daily.
I take allergy meds (since I was a child) and anti-depressants (for a little over a year) nightly.
I started the pill in September of 2008, and became sexually active in January of 2011. I've had these light, brown periods before I was sexually active, and once or twice since. But this was unusually light. Could it have something to do with my body still adjusting? The weight gain? The stress? The heavy period in mid-May? Or, is there any chance I could be pregnant?
Thank you for reading, and thank you, in advance, for the help.
