has anyone been prescribed norethisterone for bleeding.my daughter has had bleeding on and off for years now.she had an ectopic pregnancy 3 years ago and had her ovary and tube removed.on the patient information leaflet it says take caution when prescribing to anyone who has had an ectopic.it says the tablets are for painful periods and breast cancer!she hasnt got painful periods,just bleeding in between,which no one can work out why.i just want to know if anyone has had these tablets,what are the side effects,and do you still need to use contrception as the doc has told her she doesn't.i am
scared if she ends up with an ectopic again as she nearly died before.thanx.
