In Jan of 2009 had u/s and it showed:

several subcentimeter echogenic foci abutting the endometrial
echo complex and right ovary heterogeneous, predominantly hypoechoic and partially cystic lesion and no free fluid.

In Oct of 2009 repeated the u/s and it showed:

calcification in the myometrium, several hyperechoic foci involving the endometrium, and a 9 mm anterior noncalcified fibroid.

Since then my cycles have been getting worse. I have developed major anemia so bad that my dr is sending me for evaluation for possible infusion IV iron therapy.

I went for my annual exam and the dr found a 2cm lump in my left breast and sent me for a mamagram and an u/s of my breast which the dr said he couldn't even find the lump on the tests which i don't understand how one dr could feel it and the machines not pick it up. I'm 33 btw....

Then I went for my pelvic u/s and it took about 30-45 min for her to do it. She wouldn't let me see the screen or anything and then she left. She came back and asked me "have you ever had an IUD put in place?"....My response was no. She looked concerned and walked out. Came back. Took some more pictures and then said here's a cloth, clean yourself up, let me know when you are ready, and I will walk you out. She then said we will send the results to your dr immediately.

Why would they ask if I ever had an IUD? What would show itself as an IUD in the u/s.

My dr scheduled an appt with me for tomorrow at 4:15pm in his office.
