Unhappy Essure Failure
I am married, mother of 2 boys, and had the essure done 3 1/2 years ago, and just found out that I am pregnant.... Still in shock, how can this be? I had the follow up test done to make sure it took, and it did... Now I worry about miscarraige, or pregnancy problems... Am I alone in this? Has anyone else had the essure done with failure, and after 3 years???
SHOCKED and CONFUSED!

WElcome to the boards!

After doing some searching I found our that there are women who have become pregnant even after having the follow on tests. It seems that these metal coils tend to migrate. They have been found in the intestines, up in the abdomen...they are dangerous. If you do a search you will find a cuple of web sites that discuss this in detail. You might want to have a look at them,

I am sorry that this happened. It seems that there have been more issues with these coils than they told about.

Holy Cow! Seriously? I had Essure (have 4 boys had Essure in 2008). That scares the tar out of me!
