First of all, hello, I'm very, very new here, I only just made my account now. I stumbled upon this site while googling questions about vaginal bleeding [now also rectal bleeding] after bowel movements. I saw quite a few questions relating to what I wanted answered, but I prefer to ask my own question and get my own answer. Before I start I should note I'm 17.

Okay. So, lets get started I hope this isn't too long of a question, bear with me.
I have a normal period cycle, it's usually on time, sometimes early, and lasts for 5-7 days, sometimes longer. The first few days before and usually only the first two after the cycle starts, are very painful. This pain I get usually interrupts my daily life. I wanted to change this by going on the pill.
The first time I took it, was while I was on my period. It made my period last for almost a month. I took it while I went on a cruise so I could swim without worry, but clearly that didn't happen. So I went off it again.
A few years later I tried another pill, one that's supposed to adjust easy to beginners and such, Yasmine, I think? Anywho, so this made my period last for a month as well and I was throwing up and had lots of headaches and terrible mood swings. My doctor told me I was not to take the pill any more.
Over a month ago I had finished my period at the time and a couple of days later, for three days in a row, I experienced bleeding after bowel movements. I made it very certain I knew where it was coming from, my vagina and not my rectum. The bleeding was clot like. On one of these three days it happened after just urinating too. So off to the doctor I went.
She had to do an external examination because I'm not sexually active, and never had been. She told me to get an abdominal ultrasound to check for abnormalities on my ovaries, etc because I couldn't have an internal examination. She also told me I possibly could have IBS and problems due to possible lactose intolerance. I have not had the ultrasound yet. Only tonight I've noticed very minor bleeding again after bowel movements, however from both the rectum and vagina. Should I be concerned about this, go back to my doctor, and does anyone have any advice to give me. Anything will be very helpful, thank you :]
