Help

I am currently 6 days late on my period! I have been under some new stresses lately and the more days that go by I dont start, I just stress more! I am going crazy here...I have taken 3 home tests all neg, and went to the doc yesterday and had them do a urine culture, also neg. I dont know what else to do bc I feel liek I am going to start everyday, yet I dont. But I have no signs of pregnancy at all so far. No swollen or sore breasts, no morning sickness, no weird cravings or overly tiredness, no not liking foods ive always liked...nothing! I dont know whats going on....HELP someone!

Re: Help

Emmy,

I agree with naturalremedy.. stress can cause your period to be delayed in starting. The more you can do to decrease your stress level, the better. While there are some things you cannot change, you can change the way in which you allow them to affect you.

Some suggestions for ways to relieve that stress is to get physical activity going, move that body and clear your mind. If you do not have a regular workout routine, you can always just put on some great music and dance your heart out right in your own living room. That is one of my favorites. If it is work related, make a point of leaving it at the office when you leave.

Other good options are to keep a clean diet, keep well hydrated and get plenty of sleep. Since you have had so many tests, you can clear your mind of possible pregnancy, and soon your period will start and live will return to normal. I wish you the best.

Feel free to post again with any other thoughts or concerns. We are here to help.

Depending on your age, this could also be a sign of changing hormones. Not knowing your age, I could be way off on this one, excuse me if I am off base.

Re: Help

Thanks! I am no almost 10 days late, still no signs of pregnancy or anything. I feel absolutely normal. but no period. I am going to test again today, but I have been stressing a lot. So that could be it. B/c 3 HPTs and one doc test all neg, with no symptoms of pregnancy is a little on the weird side. I dont feel prego, just stressed that i am late. everyone is different though, so looks like illl have to end up going in for blood work :/ ewww!
