| Re: Vaginal Bleeding For Over 6 Months
The bleeding is highly unlikely to be related to an abortion that took place ten months before the bleeding started.
Offhand, some possibilities for it include a cervical polyp, cervical ectropion, or cervical dysplasia (the bleeding is likely cervical, not uterine, in origin, because it occurs after sex).
Only the last possibility is serious: it can lead to cervical cancer if left untreated.
No one here can offer a definitive diagnosis based on a description of the bleeding.
As unhelpful as it may be, the best advice any of us can possibly give is that she must seek medical attention. When faced with an unwanted pregnancy, she took action and sought prompt medical attention. Surely she can do the same when faced with the possibility of cervical cancer (although it's likely something less serious).
Best of luck.
